Men's Soccer Continues to Climb In Regional Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer continued to climb in the latest United Soccer Coaches (USC) Division III Regional Rankings this week.

Fresh off a pair of shutout victories last week, the Lions (7-1, 4-0 United East) rose one spot to No. 3 in the USC's Region IV rankings. New York University (NYU) holds the top spot in the region, while Montclair State earned the runner-up position. Fellow United East member St. Mary's (Md.) ranks one spot behind the Blue & White at No. 4 and Rowan rounds out the top five. Penn State Harrisburg has faced two nationally and regionally-ranked teams this season in Franklin & Marshall and St. Mary's (Md.).

Through eight games, the Blue & White lead the nation in points per game (12.25), assists per contest (4.5), and shots on goal per game (12.25). They also rank top five in scoring offense, total assists, and shots per game.

The Lions will look to keep rolling when they host Dickinson for a non-conference tilt on Wednesday night, Oct. 6. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
