Men's Soccer Rises In Regional Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer climbed three spots in the latest United Soccer Coaches (USC) Division III Regional Rankings this week.

Fresh off a crucial conference victory over nationally-ranked St. Mary's (Md.) on Saturday, the Lions (5-1, 3-0 United East) rose to No. 4 in the USC's Region IV rankings. New York University (NYU) holds the top spot in the region, while Montclair State and Stevens round out the top three. Fellow United East member St. Mary's (Md.) ranks one spot behind the Blue & White at No. 5. Penn State Harrisburg has faced two nationally and regionally-ranked teams this season in Franklin & Marshall and St. Mary's (Md.).

Through six games, the Blue & White lead the nation in scoring offense (4.17), points per game (13.17), and assists per game (4.83). They also rank top five in total points and shots on goal per game.

The Lions will look to keep rolling when they travel to Neumann for a non-conference contest this afternoon. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
