Men's Soccer Routs Penn College In Record-Breaking Effort

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team rewrote the program record book in a 10-0 rout of United East foe Penn College on Sunday night, Sept. 19.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Penn State Harrisburg got 10 markers from nine different goal scorers in one of the most dominant victories in program history; a 10-0 rout of conference foe Penn College on Sunday night.

Michael Albers got the scoring started in the 11th minute when he netted what proved to be the game winner off assists from Joey Aman and Luke Myers. Myers and Aman connected on the second goal of the night, with Myers finishing off another Aman assist to double the advantage less than seven minutes later.

In the 26th minute, Jose Palomeque took a corner kick for the Blue & White and Sebastian Krysztofowicz finished it off at point-blank range to make it 3-0. Next up was Bryson Sunho finding twine off a Shammah Gahomera feed in the 34th minute before Daryl Lucas headed home a ball off a Ben Stuckert attempt three and a half minutes later. Before the first half was through, Tommaso Eugenio D'Attoma pushed the advantage to six with a marker off assists from Stuckert and Albers in the 41st minute.

It was more of the same in the second half, with Aman converting an attempt off a pass from Gahomera in the 55th minute to make it 7-0. The Lions quickly pushed the advantage to nine thanks to Lucas' second goal of the night off a pretty pass from Daniel Fombu in the 69th minute before Fombu got into the scoring act two and a half minutes later thanks to touches from Justin Elnahrawy and Stuckert.

Zach Holthaus simultaneously pushed the lead to double digits and put an exclamation point on the night's scoring with a marker off a find from Nick Hamilton with 13:46 remaining.
