Guglielmetti Earns Share of NCAA Statistical Championship

INDIANAPOLIS – Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer player Nicholas Guglielmetti has won a share of the NCAA Division III Statistical Championship in the category of shutouts.

With the 2019 season now complete, Guglielmetti has clinched a share of the statistical championship after earning 12 shutouts in goal during the most-recent campaign. He shares the national mark with Rose-Hulman's Pascal Schlee.

Guglielmetti turned in an outstanding junior campaign that saw him earn North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) First-Team All-Conference recognition after leading the league with a 0.75 goals-against average. The goalkeeper racked up 15 wins, made 40 saves and surrendered just 16 goals this season. The Rochester, Mich. native twice earned NEAC Defensive Player of the Week honors earlier this fall (9/30, 10/28).
