Hoover, Aman Named All-Conference

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – A pair of Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer players have been rewarded for their strong performances this season, as Joey Aman and Ethan Hoover have earned all-conference recognition from the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC).

Aman and Hoover were each named to the 2018 CAC All-Conference Second Team after leading the Lions to CAC and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) postseason berths this fall.

For Aman, it is the first all-conference honor of his career. The forward was an offensive force for Harrisburg, racking up a team-high 25 total points and 11 goals. Those numbers were also good enough to rank him second among CAC players this fall. The sophomore also added three assists to go along with three game-winning scores.

Hoover capped his senior season with the first all-conference accolade of his stellar career. The midfielder was a steadying force for the Blue & White, with his 21 total points, eight goals and five assists ranking him second among Harrisburg players this fall. His point and scoring totals were good enough to rank third in the CAC, while his assist total was good enough for fifth among conference players. He also led the team with an impressive five game-winning goals.

Mary Washington's Justin Carey was named the CAC Player of the Year, while Frostburg State's Joel Assal and Christopher Newport's Tanner Dail earned Co-CAC Rookie of the Year honors. UMW's Jason Kilby was named the CAC Coach of the Year for the third year in a row.
