MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- Two Penn State Harrisburg soccer players were honored by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) as Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week for the time period ending Sunday, Sept. 25. Senior forward Ian Lake (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cedar Cliff) received the offensive award while sophomore goalkeeper Josh Wolff (Christiana, PA/Octorara) picked up the defensive accolade.
Lake scored three goals this past week, two of which were crucial game winners, and led the Lions to a 3-0 record during that span. The scores were Lake's first of the young season. Wolff saw over 200 minutes of action in net during the blue and white's three victories, which included two valuable conference wins, and did not allow a single goal. He recorded a shutout and contributed to a team shutout during the team's stellar week of play.
