MIDDLETOWN, PA - North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men´s soccer championship weekend will be held at Penn State Harrisburg for the 2008 season. Seed #1 will play the winner of the #8 and #9 match up, #2 will play #7, #3 will play #6 and #4 will play #5. The NEAC Championship game will be played on Sunday, November 9th at 1:00 PM on the Penn State Harrisburg soccer field located on campus.
With Baptist Bible, Philadelphia Biblical and Keystone College leaving the NEAC and SUNY IT and SUNY Cobleskill coming in, Candice Poiss Murray, the NEAC commissioner, had to explore the Division III landscape for associate members. Medaille College, Rutgers UniversityCamden and SUNY Oneonta will be joining the NEAC as associate members for the 2008-09 season. In addition to the list of new members the University of Dallas (Texas) will be joining the NEAC as an associate member in men´s soccer, men´s golf, men´s and women´s cross country and men´s and women´s basketball. This year each institution will advance to the conference playoffs including the University of Dallas, who will be traveling all the way from Irving, Texas.
