LATHAM, N.Y. - After winning a tournament title over the weekend, Penn State Harrisburg's Matthew Redman has been named the United East Men's Golfer of the Week.

At the two-day Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic hosted by Penn State Altoona and Mt. Aloysius beginning on Friday afternoon, Redman shot an opening-round 75 before roaring to the top of the leaderboard on Saturday behind a +1 (73). For the weekend, the junior carded a +4 (148) to win the tournament's individual trophy by two strokes over Luke Melisko; the runner-up from Mt. Aloysius. 

The Lions return to action with quad-match play hosted by Marywood at Stone Hedge Golf Course on Monday, Sept. 26.
