Men's Golf Previews United East Championships

WILLINGBORO, N.J. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team took part in the United East Championship Preview hosted by Rutgers-Camden at Rancocas Golf Club on Monday afternoon, Oct. 4. 

 

The Lions earned a runner-up team finish out of four competing conference schools with 331 (+47), while Joshua Africa was the team's top individual finisher. He carded a 77 (+6) to secure the runner-up spot out of 19 total competitors.  

 

Matthew Redman, Sean Cudahy, and Andrew Fink completed the Penn State Harrisburg scoring contingency, with Redman finishing tied for sixth with an 83 (+12), Cudahy finishing ninth with an 85 (+14), and Fink finishing tied for 10th thanks to an 86 (+15).  

 

Rosemont took home the team prize with a team total of 316 (+32), while the Ravens' Liam O'Rourke won the individual title thanks to a score of 73 (+1). 

 

The Blue & White are off for two weeks before returning to action at the F&M Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall at the Bent Creek Country Club in Lancaster, Pa. on Monday afternoon, Oct. 18.
