Golf Takes Seventh At Alvernia

Mohnton, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg Golf traveled to the LedgeRock Golf Club for the Alvernia Spring Invitational hosted by Alvernia University. The Lions would finish seventh as a team shooting a 337 (+49).

The Blue & White were led by Luke Ehler and Josh Swartz who each posted an 82 (+10) which was good enough for a tie for 14th place. Joshua Loren Africa finished just behind shooting an 86 (+14) finishing in a tie for 27th. Andrew Fink finished in a tie for 30th, shooting an 87 (+15). The Lions final finisher was Montana Gleason who recorded a 104 (+32).

Andrew Cornish of Penn State Berks recorded the low score of the day, posting a 73 (+1) helping Berks capture the team title.

The golf team will return to action April 13-14 when they travel to the Downingtown Country Club for a tournament hosted by Rosemont College.
