York, PA- The Penn State-Harrisburg golf team began their spring season on a high note, recording a third place finish Monday at the York College Spring Invitational. The Lions' score of 310 at Out Door Country Club was just four shots shy of the host Spartans, who won the event.
PSU-Harrisburg was led by senior Brad Goss (Annville/Palmyra HS), who shot a 1-over 73. That tied his personal collegiate best. Shane Woodman (Maytown/Donegal HS) shot 78 while Max Hrip (Carlisle/Cumberland Valley HS) also broke 80, firing a 79.
The Lions swing back into action Saturday, when they host the PSU-Harrisburg Spring Classic, at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.
