GANSEVOORT, NY - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announces student-athlete of the week selection for the week ending April 13, 2008 in the sport of men's golf. Nick Reed (Pine Grove, PA) was selected as the NEAC Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for Penn State – Harrisburg Nittany Lions. Reed, a junior, led Penn State Harrisburg to a 1-0 record on the week. Reed contributed to the school record score of 314 in a quad-match at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course defeating Elizabethtown (327), Philadelphia Biblical (337), and Penn State – Mont Alto (345) as well as setting an individual school records of 76 on the par-72 course which was good for medalist honors, a first for Penn State Harrisburg.
