MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Lebanon Valley in the team's home opener at the Capital Union Building on Thursday night, Sept. 8. The Lions (2-2) fell by set scores of 25-19, 25-16, and 25-20.

Anna Ruff and Tiniira Tubo continued to impress offensively, Olivia Koicuba and Megan Morris were strong defensively and on the serve, and Alyssa Snyder was the team's top setter on Thursday night.

The opener was tightly-contested before the Flying Dutchmen (3-1) put together a 9-0 run midway through the set that put things out of reach. In set two, Penn State Harrisburg pulled to within 15-11 in the middle portion but again LVC was able to pull away down the stretch. The Lions led 12-10 in the third set but another key run, this time of the 10-0 variety, swung the momentum and secured the overall victory for the Dutchmen.
