Freshman Maddie Chace (Paso Robles, Ca / Cedar Cliff) made her made her college debut at the Battlefield Classic hosted by Gettysburg College where she was named to the All-Tournament team.

In the first four matches of her collegiate career Chace led the team offensively, racking up 26 kills, 11 aces, and seven total blocks during the two day tournament. She helped the Lady Lions to a 2-2 record over the weekend beating Curry and Neumann on Saturday. After a slow start on Friday she picked up her game hitting .316 with 17 kills and eight aces to go along with 6 blocks in the two matches.

Chace and the rest of the team will be back in action Wednesday September 9th at 7 P.M. when they travel to Baltimore Md. to take on Norte Dame (Md.).
