In the second game of the day, the Trinity College Tigers faced the Gators of the College of Notre Dame. The Gators trounced the Tigers in three sets, 25-3, 25-11, 25-8, giving Trinity their second devastating loss of the day. Each with decisive wins under their belt, the Penn State Harrisburg Lady Lions and the College of Notre Dame Gators looked for their second win of the day as they faced each other in the final match.

It was an exciting match from the beginning with each team adding points evenly throughout. The Gators took an 8 point lead late in the first match forcing a Penn State time out. The Lady Lions clawed their way back to tie at 23 points apiece and eventually took the set 27-25. Notre Dame jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back in the second set defeating Penn State Harrisburg 25-8 and tying up the match 1-1. Once again, the Gators opened up an early lead, but the Lady Lions weren't going to let them slip by and brought it back within one point. Penn State took a 16-12 lead but succumbed to the strong efforts of the Gators, dropping the third match 22-25. Having trouble bouncing back, the Lady Lions couldn't overcome the Gators in the fourth set and fell 25-16, giving Notre Dame the 3-1 decision.

Amanda Duda (Centerville, VA/Westfield) lead the Lady Lions with 13 kills and 4 digs, while Kara Boyd (Alexandria, PA/Juniata Valley) added 13 assists and 5 digs.
