LANCASTER, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's women's basketball team came up just short in a narrow 61-57 loss to Franklin & Marshall in the final outing of the hosts' Terry Greene Tip-Off Classic on Sunday night, Nov. 12.

Three Lions surpassed the double-digit scoring mark, as Giahny Correa led the team with 14 points, Jenna Montana finished with 12, and Jayla Galbreath added 10 of her own. Bailey Oehmig grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, while Mikayla Wright pulled down six on the night.

Penn State Harrisburg (0-3) scored seven straight points to start the game, including 3-pointers from both Oehmig and Galbreath. The first quarter proved a low scoring affair, however, with the Lions holding a slim 9-6 advantage heading into the second.

With things tied 16-16 midway through the second quarter, F&M (2-0) put together a 6-0 run before Correa slowed the home team's momentum with six points of her own. Just before half, the Diplomats got two free ones at the line to extend their lead to seven heading into the break.

Trailing by double digits in the third quarter, Penn State Harrisburg came to life with a 12-7 spurt to end the frame. The crucial run included a pair of Montana 3-balls and pulled the Lions to with three heading into the final 10 minutes.

Another Montana triple opened the fourth and tied things at 40-40 before Ali Lister put the visitors back in front for the first time since late in the second quarter with a layup off a Correa find. Montana hit her fourth 3-pointer of the game to extend the advantage to 47-43 with seven minutes remaining but the Dips answered with a 14-3 run to reclaim the lead in the closing minutes. Correa hit a trifecta and added a layup in the final 75 seconds but F&M held off the late charge to escape its home court with the slim win.
