DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - A rough fourth quarter that saw the team outscored 23-12 cost Penn State Harrisburg's women's basketball in a 66-57 non-conference loss at Delaware Valley on Friday evening, Dec. 30.

In the team's first contest in 27 days, the Lions were paced by Kendis Butler's 12 points, while Bailey Oehmig finished one point shy of a double-double with nine and a team-high 11 rebounds. Jenna Montana chipped in with eight points and Ciani Redd-Howard added seven off the bench.

The Aggies (7-6) overcame a double-digit first-quarter deficit and pulled ahead 40-35 late in the third. Butler stopped an 8-0 run with a driving layup before knocking down a 3-ball on the next possession. Butler found Alli Walton for a layup in the paint the next time down the floor and Sydney Hemler beat the third-quarter buzzer by banking home a straightaway triple that put the Lions (4-5) back in front 45-43.

Montana opened the fourth with a steal and layup in transition and Butler followed it up with another bucket from beyond the arc to stretch the lead to 50-43 with 8:43 remaining. Following a Walton layup next time down, the Lions went ice cold and failed to convert a field goal for more than five minutes.

After DVU put together a 9-0 spurt, back-to-back buckets from Olivia Richardson and Oehmig tied things up at 56-56 with 2:05 left to play. The Aggies answered with a layup on the other end and the visitors managed just one free throw in the final two minutes, while Delaware Valley added another layup and six foul shots to ice the game.

- The Lions outshot DVU from beyond the arc (29 percent to 14.3 percent) but allowed 42 points in the paint.
