LANCASTER, Pa.Kendis Butler converted the game-winning 4-point play in the final seconds to lift Penn State Harrisburg's women's basketball team to a thrilling 71-68 victory over Lycoming on the final day of Franklin & Marshall's Terry Greene Tip-Off Tournament on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 13.

Giahny Correa led all scorers with 20 points, while Butler finished with 19 of her own. Ciani Redd-Howard recorded her first double-double of the young season with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Bailey Oehmig added 10 points off the bench.

After the Warriors (1-2) fought back to erase an early double-digit deficit and take a 66-59 lead with less than four minutes remaining, the Lions (1-1) turned to Correa, Butler, and Redd-Howard down the stretch.

Correa followed a Butler free throw with a 3-ball before knocking down a pair of foul shots to cut the deficit to three with 1:44 left to play. Redd-Howard pulled down a rebound following a Lycoming miss, was fouled, and converted both free throw attempts to pull Penn State Harrisburg to within one with 1:17 remaining.

The Warriors turned it over with less than 30 seconds left and head coach Ross Patrick burned a timeout with 22 ticks remaining. Following the break, Correa drove to her right and kicked the ball out to Butler on the wing. Butler launched a deep triple that fell smoothly through the cylinder just moments after contact from a Lycoming defender knocked her to the hardwood. She followed up her 3-ball by cooly converting the ensuing free throw to put the Lions ahead by three with 6.6 seconds left.

After the Warriors talked things over during a timeout, Lyco's Jillian Pumputis fired an off-balance attempt from the wing that missed the mark. Olivia Richardson corralled the loose ball as time expired to seal the dramatic victory.

Penn State Harrisburg led by as many as 17 points on two separate occasions in the first half following buckets from Redd-Howard but the Warriors chipped away and cut the deficit to a dozen at halftime before pulling to within three by the end of the third quarter.

Lycoming had no answer for Correa, Butler, and Redd-Howard in the final frame, however, as the trio combined to scored 18 of the team's 20 fourth-quarter points.
