Dixon's Epic Performance Earns NEAC Honors

MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- For the second consecutive week, a Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball player has earned North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) honors.  Senior point guard Dorothea Dixon (Middletown, PA/Middletown) made history on Saturday, Dec. 3, and became just the ninth women's player in NCAA history to record a quadruple-double in the Lions' win over Penn State Berks.  The NEAC took notice and named Dixon the conference's women's basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the time period ending Dec. 4.

Dixon led the blue and white to 91-42 victory over the visitors from the east and recorded the most impressive stat line of her career with 11 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and ten steals.  Her rare feat was the first in school history and the first in any of the NCAA's three divisions in almost two years.  The senior's stellar play kept Penn State Harrisburg undefeated in conference play as the Lions now sit at 2-0 in the NEAC's South Division.  Dixon currently leads the squad in both total assists (30) and steals (26) for the year.
