MIDDLETOWN, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg junior guard/forward Stephanie Yetter (Thompsontown, PA/East Juniata) led the Lions to two North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victories last week and was rewarded for her stellar play when the conference named her the women's basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the time period ending Sunday, Jan. 29.
The versatile team captain was an integral part of the ladies' 82-41 road win over Wilson on Tuesday, Jan. 24. She scored 15 points and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds to go along with her six assists and six steals. Yetter followed it up by dropping a season-high 25 points on Penn State Abington in the blue and white's 68-44 victory on Sunday, Jan. 29. She corralled ten more boards and recorded two blocks and two steals against the visiting Lions.
The East Juniata alum's back-to-back double-doubles helped improve Penn State Harrisburg to 9-1 in conference play and solidified the Lions' rank atop the NEAC's South Division standings.
