Blue and White Dominates Wilson

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - The Penn State Harrisburg Lady Lions jumped out to a quick 15-2 first half lead over the visiting Wilson College Phoenix and never looked back. The Lady Lions improved to 7-5 (6-3 NEAC) with dominating win over Wilson College, 78-34.

Every Lady Lion scored in Tuesday night's performance. Miranda Zeanchock (Carroltown, PA/Cambira Heights) led all Lady Lions scorers with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Also in double figures were Monet Cunningham (Highspire, PA/Bishop McDevitt) and Amanda Moyer (Carlisle, PA/Cumberland Valley) with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

The Lady Lion's showcased their defense as they forced 34 Wilson turnovers, scoring 20 points off of turnovers. Dorothea Dixon (Middletown, PA/Middletown) grabbed 7 steals in the winning effort.

The struggling Phoenix were led by Alaina Hofer's double-double. Hofer registered 13 points and 11 rebounds as Wilson College slipped to 2-12.

Penn State Harrisburg will host Cazenovia College on Saturday, January 15 at 12:00PM and Morrisville State on Sunday, January 16 at 12:00PM.
