Sandra Adames (Pontiac Northern/Pontiac, MI) has been selected as the NEAC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending on December 16th. Adames, a 5'11" junior forward for the Penn State Harrisburg Lady Lions, was selected for her strong offensive and defensive performance for the week. Despite the team's one loss this week, Adames finished the week with 23 points, 23 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steals, 7-for-9 from the free throw line (.778 from the line), and a .571 shooting percentage. Adams had another impressive week following a triple double the previous week with 12 blocks. She is also sharing some holiday cheer in organizing a campus supply drive for enlisted Marines.
