MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's number one singles player, Nate Tulchinsky (Hershey, PA/Hershey), has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) Men's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week for the time period ending Sunday, Oct. 16.
The junior easily swept his singles match against Goucher's number one player, Nick Pelensky (Billings, MT/Billings), on Friday, Oct. 14, by scores of 6-2 and 6-4. He also took care of business in doubles play. Teaming up with Lion freshman Jerred Hall (Manheim, PA/Manheim Central), the pair bested their counterparts, 8-3.
Tulchinsky's stellar play kept the Lions undefeated heading into the mid-season break. The defending conference champs finished off their fall campaign with a perfect 5-0 record.
