Men's Tennis Weekend Wrap-Up

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - In their first match of the season, the Penn State Harrisburg men's tennis team strode to victory over Southern Virginia University, 6-3. The Nittany Lions were able to capture 5 out of 6 singles matches as well as a doubles match to secure the win.

With one win under their belt, the Nittany Lions hoped to go 2-0 on the weekend but Susquehanna University spoiled their hopes with an impressive effort on Sunday. The Nittany Lions dropped the decision 2-7 to the Crusaders. Kevin Marrs (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin East) defeated Jeremy Neville in the only singles victory of the day. The Nittany Lions were also able to capture a doubles win from the Nate Tulchinsky (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) and Tyler Bixler (Camp Hill, PA/Cumberland Valley) duo.

Penn State faces Hood College today, Tuesday, September 21 at 4:00 PM.
