Lions Off to a 5-1 Start

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - The Penn State Harrisburg men's tennis team is off to a great start, winning 5 of their 6 spring contests to date. On Sunday, April 3, the Nittany Lions opened up NEAC conference action, hosting the Keuka College Storm. The decision was overwhelming as the Nittany Lions took the contest 9-0.

Playing at the top spot, senior John Dixon defeated Keuka's Justin Fries 6-2, 6-0 in the singles match up. Dixon teamed up with Ali Eteiba for the number one doubles duo and took down Fries and Blaine Phair 8-1.

This spring, the Nittany Lions have beaten Immaculata University, Lancaster Bible College, Stevenson University, Penn State Altoona and Keuka College. Penn State Harrisburg looks to extend their streak on April 5, 2011 as they host NEAC foe Penn State Berks at 4:00 PM.
