READING, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team posted its fourth straight shutout and extended its recent win streak to eight in a row with a 6-0 victory over conference foe Penn State Berks on Wednesday night, Oct. 16.
Kobe Harris and Noah Cahoon each netted a pair of goals, while Jaden Longdon and Will Kim also found the back of the net. Goalkeeper Tyler Shearin made three saves in net to preserve the blank sheet.
Harris opened the scoring for regionally-ranked Penn State Harrisburg (12-3-1, 5-0-0 United East) with a strike off an Aidan McWilliams find just 6:39 into the contest.
Penn State Berks (3-11-1, 0-4-1 United East) stayed within striking distance heading into halftime but after the break, it was all Penn State Harrisburg. Longdon doubled the advantage with a goal just 1:01 into the second half before Kim made it 3-0 in the 53rd minute.
Harris netted his second goal of the night off a Longdon helper in the 63rd minute and Cahoon put the finishing touches on the shutout victory with back-to-back markers in the 67th and 71st minutes, respectively.
