ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team saw its season end in penalty kicks against top-seeded St. Mary's (Md.) in the semifinal round of the United East Championship Tournament on Tuesday night, Nov. 5.

After a pair of scoreless overtime periods, the Lions (14-4-3) took an early lead in PK's after Tyler Madairy converted the first attempt and goalkeeper Shayon Kashi made a stop on the first St. Mary's shot. The Seahawks (10-6-3) caught a break thanks to a Penn State Harrisburg miss before bookending four straight penalty kicks around a key save to clinch the victory and secure a spot in Saturday's United East Championship Game.

The Lions struck first midway through the opening half when Jaden Longdon finished off an assist from Colin O'Hara in the 22nd minute.

Penn State Harrisburg protected the narrow lead well into the second half but with less than 20 minutes remaining in regulation, St. Mary's pressed the issue and netted the equalizer in the 71st minute, setting the table for extra time and the eventual deciding penalty kicks.
