Fombu, Longdon Named United Soccer Coaches All-Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Thanks to their strong play during the 2023 campaign, Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer players Daniel Fombu and Jaden Longdon have earned United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Region recognition. 

 

Both Fombu and Longdon were named to the USC All-Region IV Third Team. 

 

Fombu was the team's leading scorer this fall, racking up seven goals, including a game-winning marker in a victory over NYU in September. The junior added one assist to finish with 16 total points on the year. Earlier this season, the forward moved into third place on the program's all-time scoring list with 24 career goals and he currently ranks third all-time with 56 career points. The Lower Dauphin alum was named to the United East Volt Division All-Conference First Team earlier this month. 

 

Longdon turned in a memorable first season at Penn State Harrisburg. The junior forward recorded 11 total points thanks to four goals and three assists. The East Stroudsburg, Pa. native had four games in which he scored a marker and added a helper this fall. He was named to the United East Volt Division All-Conference First Team for his efforts.
