KANSAS CiTY, Mo. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer debuted in the first United Soccer Coaches (USC) Division III Regional Rankings of the season.

Fresh off a convincing road victory over Alfred on Sunday afternoon, the Lions (2-1-2) earned the No. 6 spot on the USC's Region IV ranking. Stevens Institute of Technology holds the top spot in the region, while Montclair State, Stockton, Misericordia, and Rowan round out the top five.

Through five games, Penn State Harrisburg has racked up 10 goals, with reigning United East Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Daniel Fombu accounting for three markers, while the defense is coming off its best game of the young season; a 3-0 shutout of Alfred over the weekend.

The Lions face a tough test when they travel to take on another regionally-ranked squad in Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday night, Sept. 14. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
