ALFRED, N.Y. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team finished off its weekend at the Bryan Karl Tournament in New York by blanking the hosts from Alfred 3-0 on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 11.

Daniel Fombu, Jordan Perkins, and Luke Myers provided the scoring with one goal apiece for the Lions (2-1-2). Myers and Fombu also added assists. The defense allowed just five shots for Alfred (1-2-1) in securing the shutout.

It took just eight minutes and change for Fombu to find the back of the net and Perkins doubled the Penn State Harrisburg advantage with a marker off a feed from Myers in the 26th minute. The two-score advantage held late into the second half before Myers got into the scoring act with a goal off a Fombu assist with less than seven minutes left to play to put things out of reach for good.
