Palomeque Earns United East Offensive POTW Honors

LATHAM, N.Y. - Thanks to his efforts in a pair of shutout victories, Penn State Harrisburg's Jose Palomeque has been named the United East Men's Soccer Player of the Week. 

 

Palomeque netted the game-winner in a 2-0 win at Neumann on Tuesday afternoon and followed it up with a pair of goals in a 4-0 victory over conference foe Morrisville State on Saturday afternoon. The Ecuador native also added a helper against the Mustangs to tally seven total points on the week thanks to three markers and an assist. Palomeque currently leads the Lions (7-1, 4-0 United East) in total points (13).  

 

Penn State Harrisburg will host Dickinson for a non-conference tilt on Wednesday night, Oct. 6. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
