Men's Soccer Uses Suffocating Effort to Shut Out Neumann

ASTON, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team was dominant in a 2-0 shutout of Neumann on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 28.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Penn State Harrisburg (6-1) limited Neumann (3-7) to just two shots on Tuesday and used a pair of second-half goals to pick up the team's fourth win in a row.

The Lions were unable to convert their chances in the first half but broke through after the break when Jose Palomeque put his attempt past Neumann goalkeeper Seth Walker in the 59th minute. Luke Myers assisted on what proved to be the game-winning marker.

The visitors doubled their advantage 20 minutes later when Sebastian Krysztofowicz put a feed from Tyler Madairy into the back of the net to make it 2-0 with 11:21 left to play.

Thanks to a strong defensive effort by the Blue & White, the Knights got off their only shots of the contest in the 18th minute and the 84th minute, with neither attempt coming on frame.
