Guglielmetti, Aman Sweep NEAC Men's Soccer Weekly Awards

LATHAM, N.Y. – A pair of Penn State Harrisburg student-athletes in Joey Aman and Nicholas Guglielmetti have swept the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors, with Aman earning offensive player of the week recognition and Guglielmetti being named the defensive player of the week.

Aman was responsible for both game-winning goals in the Lions' pair of victories last week. The junior netted the contest's only marker in a 1-0 win over the defending conference champions from Penn State Abington on Wednesday evening before converting the deciding score of the day in the team's 3-0 victory over Gallaudet on Saturday afternoon. The Annapolis, Md. native has scored a goal in each of the team's last three wins and has tallied nine total points on the season.

Guglielmetti picked up two more victories as the team's last line of defense in the wins over Penn State Abington and Gallaudet. The junior made a pair of stops in Wednesday's win, including a crucial save in the final four minutes to preserve the one-goal advantage. The Rochester, Mich. native added another stop in the shutout on Saturday afternoon. He currently leads the league with a 0.75 goals-against average and five shutout victories.

Aman and Guglielmetti join teammate Jared Brewer as Penn State Harrisburg players to earn NEAC weekly honors this season.

The Blue & White (7-3, 4-0 NEAC) return to action when they host Lebanon Valley at Nittany Soccer Field for a non-conference outing on Tuesday afternoon.
