CARLISLE, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team returned to action at the Dickinson Fall Invitational at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Club on a rainy Monday morning, Sept. 23.
As a group, the Lions finished tied for 10th overall out of 19 competing teams with a total effort of +26 (314). Millersville captured the team title with a combined score of +4 (292), while MU's Tiimothy Peters won the individual event with an impressive effort of -5 (67).
For Penn State Harrisburg, Jacob Lotz earned a top-10 finish by shooting a +2 (74) - the lowest number from a Penn State Harrisburg golfer this fall and strong enough to capture eighth overall out of 98 total competitors. Reigning United East Rookie of the Year Gavin Fegley turned in his best score of the young season in a +4 (76) to capture a share of 17th place. Rounding out the group of Penn State Harrisburg golfers was Isaiah Day, Bronson Earley, and Nicholas Fowler, each of whom shot an identical +10 (82) to finish tied for 70th.
The Lions return to action at the United East Championship Preview event hosted by Wilson on Monday morning, Oct. 7.
