LATHAM, N.Y. – Thanks to his record-breaking performance over the weekend, Penn State Harrisburg's Joshua Africa has been named the United East Men's Golfer of the Week.

At the Dicksinson Invitational held at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course in Carlisle, Pa. on Saturday morning, Africa shot a -2, 70 to match the program's all-time low score, originally set by Keith Miller in 2016, and earn a share of seventh-place of out 71 total competitors. Thanks to his effort, the Lions earned a sixth-place team finish out of 13 competing programs.

Penn State Harrisburg returns to action at Arcadia's two-day Golden Oaks Shootout in Glenside, Pa. beginning on Friday afternoon, Sept. 24.
