Lion's Finish Second at Susquehanna

The Penn State Harrisburg golf team finished second, out of 13 teams, at the Susquehanna University Fall Invitational Saturday, shooting a team score of 317.  The Lions were led by a 77 from Shane Woodman (Sr-Donegal).  Max Hrip (Jr-Cumberland Valley) and Geoff Morrison (Sr-Bishop McDevitt) chipped in with scores of 78 and 80 respectively.

The Susquehanna Valley Country Club played fast and firm all day, with high scores all around.  But the Lions managed to finish just two shots out of first, trailing only Manhattan, an NCAA Division I school.

PSU-Harrisburg is back in action Thursday, when they participate in the Messiah College Fall Classic, at Blue Ridge Country Club in Harrisburg.
