MIDDLETOWN, PA - York College holds a one shot lead after the first day of the Penn State-Harrisburg Spring Classic, with a score of 308. Penn State-Harrisburg sits in second in the seven-team field at 309, with Stevenson in third at 314.
York's Andrew Schmehl shot the low round of the day with a 73, besting the Penn State-Harrisburg duo of Max Hrip and Bobby Proietto by two shots. Stevenson's Matt Lukehart and York's Cody Trabert are also in the hunt for medallist honors after both shot 76.
The second, and final, round gets underway Monday at 8 AM at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course.
