Former Penn State Harrisburg standout Kylee Altland is set to begin her first season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator with the program prior to the 2024 campaign.

 

A three-year starter for Penn State Harrisburg after transferring from Division II Fairmont State, Altland finished her illustrious career with 47 total points thanks to 17 goals, including five game-winning markers, and 13 assists. 

 

Her senior season culminated with a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District plaudit after she was named to the United East Volt Division All-Conference First Team. She matched the single-season program record for assists with nine helpers and added a goal against nationally-ranked Franklin & Marshall. 

 

The Millersburg, Pa. native was named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Region IV Third Team following a junior campaign that saw her rack up 18 total points on eight goals, including two game-winning markers, and a pair of assists. She earned a spot on the United East All-Conference First Team for her efforts. Off the field, she served as the school’s Student-Athlete Leadership Council (SALC) Secretary and was named the Penn State Harrisburg Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year. 

 

During her first season with the program in 2021, she led the team with 18 total points thanks to eight goals and a pair of assists. She was named to the United East All-Conference Second Team before netting a pair of markers, including the game winner, in the United East Championship Game en route to earning tournament MVP honors. 

 

Altland’s also been strong in the classroom throughout her career, earning three conference scholar-athlete awards during her time at Penn State Harrisburg. She graduated with her MBA in December 2023 after earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing in December 2022.
