Jason Badecki enters his second season as Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf head coach in 2020-21.

During Badecki's first year at the helm, the Lions saw marked improvement across the board. The Blue & White recorded three top-10 finishes during the fall campaign, including a season-best fourth-place finish on the second day of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic hosted by Mount Aloysius in late September. Under Badecki's guidance, Andrew Fink earned a season-best fifth-place finish during the opening round of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic hosted by Penn State Altoona in the fall. Penn State Harrisburg looked poised to continue its ascent in the spring before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancelation of the remainder of the 2019-20 season.

Badecki took the reins of the Penn State Harrisburg program after serving two years as head coach of both the men's and women's golf teams at Denison. While there, he led the Big Red to six tournament victories, while guiding four players to Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America Scholar recognition and three more to Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors.

Prior to taking over at Denison, Badecki spent four seasons as the head women's golf coach at Eastern, where he also served as head coach of the men's program for multiple campaigns. He led the women to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships in 2014 and 2017. He was voted MAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year by his peers following both seasons. Under his leadership, six Eagles were named WGCA All-America Scholars, while 13 players earned all-conference accolades.

As a collegiate player, Badecki impressed during two seasons at Rutgers-Camden after transferring from Salem County Community College in 2010. As a Scarlet Raptor, he was twice named a NEAC Scholar-Athlete. After graduating, he served in an assistant coaching role for his alma mater.

Badecki earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Eastern in 2016 after securing his Bachelor's of Science in Marketing from Rutgers University in 2012.
