Donna Fishter
Title: Leadership Consultant

Donna Fishter serves as Penn State Harrisburg women's soccer's leadership consultant and team architect. Her primary roles include guiding the team culture and providing leadership training. She also assists in key areas of personal development and advising the team's coaches.

Empowering athletes to become strong human beings is her primary focus. The beliefs and behaviors of athletes, especially what they believe about themselves, can be transformational. Winning is a habit and a lifestyle. When coaches help athletes “win in life” this has a huge impact on performance and culture.

Fishter coached soccer for more than 25 years at the youth, high school, and college levels. She spent 13 years at the University of Central Florida and helped build UCF into an NCAA Division I Top 25 program. The main catalyst for this success was intentional focus on the intrinsic side of the game. In 2013, Fishter shifted away from the x’s and o’s and devoted 100 percent of her time to consulting teams across the country. Through intense focus on leadership, culture, and connection, she has helped coaches and athletes build foundational strategies to achieve greatness. Fishter wants every team and every person she encounters to find sustained success in the game and in life.

In 2020, Fishter was named the No. 2 UCF Athletics Assistant Coach of All-Time. She has been an instructor for U.S. Soccer Federation Education Courses and is a regular presenter at the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Convention, as well as a content creator for the association. In 2021, she teamed up with #SoccerChat, the host of the “Dose of Donna Fishter” podcast.

Fishter is a founding member and certified leadership coach with the John Maxwell Coaching Team. John C. Maxwell is an internationally recognized leadership expert, speaker, and author who has sold more than 13 million books. Every year he speaks to Fortune 500 companies, international government leaders, and organizations as diverse as the United States Military Academy at West Point, the National Football League (NFL), and ambassadors at the United Nations.

Fishter currently resides in Orlando, Fla.
