He helped guide the Blue & White to the NCAA Tournament, a United East Championship, and a national ranking in 2021. During the 2021 campaign, Penn State Harrisburg went 15-2-1 mark and claimed memorable victories over No. 2 Messiah and No. 3 St. Mary’s (Md.). That fall, Penn State Harrisburg players earned three United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Region honors, swept the United East year-end major awards, and racked up seven all-conference first-team accolades.

The Harrisburg, Pa. native was a three-year varsity player at Central Dauphin High School. While there, he helped the Rams to a Mid-Penn and PIAA District III Championship. Brown also played at the travel level with the Capital Area Soccer Academy (CASA) for 12 years and was a member of the Harrisburg City Islanders Academy for multiple seasons, one of which included a regional championship. Brown was a four-year player and three-year starter at Penn State Harrisburg. He was named the program's 2013 Newcomer of the Year. He also helped lead the team to the CAC Conference Championship Game in 2014, as well as a pair of ECAC Tournament appearances in 2014 and 2016.

Brown is also a coach for the Hershey Soccer Club. He started at the Hershey Soccer Club as a recreational trainer where coached players from U6 to U12. In 2018, he also took over a U10 boys' team. In the summer of 2019, Brown coached a U13 Boys Summer Select Team that won championships in two tournaments. He also entered his first season as an assistant coach for Hershey FC; a member of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).

Brown earned his degree in Business Management and Marketing from Penn State Harrisburg in 2018.
