MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's women's volleyball program has announced the dates for its youth camp and a pair of high school clinics to be held this summer.

The program's youth camp will be held on July 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. girls' volleyball players in grades 4-8. The middle school day clinic will focus on fundamentals and provide an opportunity for skill development. Throughout the clinic, participants will learn about serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and individual defense. The day will conclude with team play to practice the skills learned earlier in the day. Each participant will receive a Penn State Harrisburg volleyball t-shirt. Campers must bring their own lunch. Cost of attendance is $80.

The first of the two high school clinics is scheduled for July 14, while the second is set for August 11. Both clinics will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The events will provide specific techniques for high school players looking to improve in all areas of the sport, all while experiencing college-level instruction. Participants will get the opportunity to receive training from Penn State Harrisburg's coaching staff, as well as current players from the program. The clinics are for girls' volleyball players in grades 9-12. The cost of each clinic is $95.

All other inquiries should be directed to women's volleyball head coach Angela Burkett via email at arb358@psu.edu or via phone at 717-948-6218.
