LANCASTER, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's women's volleyball team dropped their first conference match of the season to Lancaster Bible on Wednesday night, Oct. 4.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lions (7-9, 0-1 UE) saw their most competitive set of the night in the opening set, before being held to less than 15 points in both the second and third sets. The Chargers (9-6, 1-0 UE) relied on the offensive powers of Chloe King and Lea Sareyka to earn a 25-18 decision in the first go-round, as they accounted for seven of the teams 10 total kills.

The Blue & White kept it close in the beginning of the second set and had it tied 7-7 before Lancaster Bible went on a 14-0 run to put it out of reach for the away team. In the final set of the night the Lions fought in a back-and-forth battle, however the Chargers sealed the deal with five straight points to end the match.

NOTABLES

- Hannah DeGregory finished with a team-high nine kills.

- Choe recorded a team-best 13 digs and added a pair of service aces.

- Tori Henderson and Amos Willis both added three kills apiece.

- In the setter position, Katie Richardson had 17 assists.

WHO'S NEXT?
