MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's women's volleyball team continued its recent hot streak with a convincing 3-0 victory over Wilson at the Capital Union Building on Thursday night, Sept. 15.

Anna Ruff had another outstanding offensive night, while Katie Richardson was strong from her setter position. Richardson was also the team's leader in digs and Olivia Koicuba, Julia Choe, and Jasmin Fowlkes helped lead the way defensively.

After a back-and-forth start to the opening set, the Lions (5-3) used a 9-0 run capped by a Tiniira Tubo service ace to pull away and put the first game out of reach. It was more dominance for the home team in the second set, with Penn State Harrisburg jumping out to a double-digit advantage and closing it out with 5-0 run that concluded with a Tori Henderson kill off a Richardson assist. The Phoenix (0-8) took advantage of a slow start in the third game, pulling ahead 7-1 in the early going before the Lions roared back with a 7-1 stretch. Penn State Harrisburg eventually closed the gap, erased a two-point deficit, and wrapped things up with a 5-0 run.
