Women’s Volleyball Prepared For Playoffs

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg has finished its 2018 regular season and is now prepared for a playoff run. The #7-seeded Lions will travel to #2 Christopher Newport for their match up in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.

 

The Lions offense is led by Brittany Wolf, who early this season became the school's all-time leader in kills. So far this season Wolf has registered 229 kills. Defensively, Katelyn Hossler has anchored the Lions, recording 340 digs. Alexander Kon has set the Lions block all season, posting 71 total blocks this season.

First Round - Tuesday, Oct. 30

Game 1: #8 St. Mary's at #1 Mary Washington, 7 p.m.

Game 2: #5 Salisbury at #4 Southern Virginia, 7 p.m.

Game 3: #7 Penn State Harrisburg at # 2 Christopher Newport, 7 p.m.

Game 4: #6 Frostburg State at #3 York, 7 p.m.

 

Semifinal Round - Thursday, Nov. 1

Game 5: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 (at highest remaining seed)

Game 6: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 (at highest remaining seed)

 

Championship - Saturday, Nov. 3

Game 7: Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 6 (at highest remaining seed)
