Women's Tennis Falls to Division II Kutztown

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Kutztown at the Hoverter Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon, April 16. 

 

The Blue & White earned an early win in doubles play when Isabella Pizzelanti and Sarah Shaub secured an 8-5 victory over Kutztown's Brianna Wendling and Jess Marks in the No. 2 contest. 

 

The Golden Bears claimed all six singles contests, however Pizzelanti went down swinging in a hard-fought three-set battle, falling 6-4, 0-6, 9-11 in the No. 3 matchup. 

 

The Lions wrap up the regular season with a conference match at Penn State Berks on Saturday morning, April 23. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
