Women's Tennis Falls To Salisbury In Rain-Shorted Match

SALISBURY, Md. - The Penn State Harrisburg's women's tennis team fell to Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) foe Salisbury 5-1 on Sunday morning, March 31. Due to inclement weather, the match which started outdoors had to be moved indoors. Also, due to the change in venue only singles action was contested.

The Lions (5-9) picked up their team point when Elysse Mellott defeated Salisbury's Ariana Leggio. Mellott captured the first set 6-4 and won a battle in set two, defeating Leggio 7-6.

Penn State Harrisburg women's tennis team will return home to face the defending CAC champs from Mary Washington on Friday, April 5 at 4:30 p.m.
