Penn State Harrisburg Top Ten Moments 2014-2015 #2

For the second straight year in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) the Penn State Harrisburg Men’s Golf team showed why they are one of the best teams in the conference.

In the second year that Penn State Harrisburg has been in the CAC, the Men’s Golf team has shined. Last year the team took home a 2nd place finish in the Conference Championships. This year the team proved last year was not a fluke again placing 2nd at the Conference Championships while landing 4 golfers to All-Conference teams.

Freshman Keith Miller (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) and sophomore Tyler Shank (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra) both earned first-team All-CAC nods and combined to win the CAC Rookie of the Year award in consecutive years. Shank repeated as a first-team all-star and was the 2014 Rookie of the Year while Miller captured the 2015 Rookie of the Year award. Also representing the Lions on the 2015 All-CAC second team are freshman Collin Hagenbuch (Easton, Pa./ Wilson) and junior Tyler Massar (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest). Penn State Harrisburg golfers have combined for seven All-CAC awards in the program's first two years as members of the Capital Athletic Conference.

With most of the team expected to return for the 2015-16 season the Men’s Golf team will look to improve on their impressive season from last year.
