Cheerleading team takes 6th in first ever team competition

The Penn State Harrisburg Cheerleading team participated in their first ever team competition this past weeked at Frostburg St.  The team has had a very active role this past year as they have grown into one of our biggest and most active club sports.  The squad has been preparing for this competition working hard the past few months in practice as well as cheering for the men's and women's basketball teams.  

The Lions ended up finishing 6th out of 7 teams.  All of the teams our future CAC opponents, which have teams that have been together much longer than our newly formed group of men and women.  Christopher Newport took home the first place trophy with a score of 234.5 points.
