NEW ORLEANS - Penn State Harrisburg women's track & field athletes Tatyana Gibson and Kyli Moon-Rumsey have earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Outdoor All-Region recognition.

Both Gibson (800m) and Moon-Rumsey (heptathlon) secured USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors, becoming the school's first outdoor women's track & field athletes to capture the accolades since 2019. Penn State Harrisburg women's track & field athletes have racked up 22 total USTFCCCA All-Region honors during the program's eight-year history.

Gibson, the 2022 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Outdoor Rookie of the Year, had an outstanding spring that culminated in an ECAC Championship in the 800m run. She shattered the program record in the event thanks to a time of 2:12.90; an effort strong enough to rank her top-30 in the nation. The Harrisburg, Pa. native also won an NJAC Championship in the 1,500m run thanks to a facility (TCNJ) and program-record time of 4:48.31. The gold medal also secured her NJAC First-Team All-Conference honors in the event. She earned a runner-up finish in the 800m as well, claiming second-team all-conference recognition in the process. The freshman was also named the NJAC Outdoor Rookie of the Week in early April (4/4).

Moon-Rumsey was outstanding during the season's final stretch, earning silver in the heptathlon at the NJAC Championships and securing all-conference second-team recognition in the event thanks to a PR of 3,663 points. The New York native's point total is strong enough to rank second all-time in the event in program history. The sophomore multi also won silver in the javelin throw at the ECAC Championships in the season's final event.

The top-five performers in each event from each region earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of top-three ranked relay teams.
